Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of PixiPile, a macOS application published by Media Lantern, Inc. By downloading, installing, or using PixiPile you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

License grant

Media Lantern grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use PixiPile on devices you own or control. This license does not transfer ownership of the software or any intellectual property rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Remove or alter any copyright or trademark notices
• Redistribute, sublicense, rent, or lease the application
• Use the application for any purpose that violates applicable law

Your content

PixiPile operates entirely on your local files. We do not claim any ownership or license over your photos, videos, or other files. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your content. Operations such as sorting, moving, deleting, rotating, and batch corrections modify files on disk and may not be reversible.

Availability and updates

We may update, modify, or discontinue PixiPile or any of its features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice of significant changes. Updates distributed through the Mac App Store are subject to Apple's terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

PixiPile is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the application will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Media Lantern shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of PixiPile.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at pixipile.com/terms with an updated date. Continued use of PixiPile after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
